Moasure Case Study

Moasure, a revolutionary digital measurement device aimed at professionals, had seen considerable success in scaling activity in key markets such as the USA using paid social and innovative content that demonstrated the use cases of the device.

The Challenge

Historically, they had struggled to replicate this success on paid search, display and YouTube ads. Recognising the complexity and expertise required to successfully scale paid search, CRKLR were asked to create a strategy that could deliver incremental growth and be replicated across core markets.

The Solution

Working closely with the client, we developed a sophisticated strategy which targeted the USA as a trial market. This replicated the successful content focus they had seen on paid social whilst also making use of Google’s unique campaign types, Shopping ads and P-Max as well as YouTube.

Using negative keyword funnelling we split shopping into 3 different intent brackets using variable ROAS targets and campaign priorities. Alongside this, P-max campaigns which excluded brand and were split by asset group using social assets to unlock and extend reach across Google products and partner networks.

Standard search DSAs were added as well as text ads based on keyword mining with brand protection also included.

YouTube ads were used to deliver additional reach and top of funnel awareness with sequential ads as well as a structured test and learn process for short form video to take advantage of the Shorts format.

Compared with the same period from the previous year, CRKLR delivered 107% more revenue with just 3.6% more budget.

As a blend we delivered over $750K of sales through Google Ads at a ROAS of 21.5 in Q1 alone. 

Excluding brand and YouTube the core shopping and P-max campaigns delivered at scale and profitably with over $180K of incremental revenue and a ROAS of 12X. 

YouTube helped grow the reach and awareness across key audiences, leveraging short and longer form social content to deliver reach of over 1.2 million and CTR of over 2%.
